A new Chinese AI model amazes everyone and competes with DeepSeek R1 in scientific writing.

Today we feature a prominent Chinese AI  model that is starting to make a splash. After seeing the deepseek r1 , model that revolutionized the AI industry, today we're looking at another model from China, Kemi AI. As soon as you enter the homepage and try to log in, you'll notice that registration is not done via email, but requires you to enter your mobile phone number, regardless of the term used in your country

You will need to enter the phone number on which you wish to receive the verification call. Instead of sending a text message (SMS), you will receive a phone call with a verification code to enter. Interestingly, the call doesn't always come from the same country, so you might get a call from the UAE and another from Germany, depending on how the site works. Each time you try to log in, the site will make a new phone call.

Once you enter the verification code, you will be able to access the site immediately. This is the first time I've seen a verification system that relies entirely on phone calls instead of text messages. Each time you log in, the site will call you from a new number.

It may be from a different country each time. So, you must enter your correct phone number to successfully receive the call

After logging in, you will find yourself right on the homepage, where you can access several features. Among these features is the ability to upload files, as the site allows you to upload a wide range of files, up to 50 files, each of which can be in PDF, images, Word documents, Excel, or any other format that supports text and media. The model has powerful "Kemi" AI capabilities, as well as "Long Knife," a mode that thinks more deeply and processes information accurately

Okay, now that we're on the site, here's how to avoid any confusion: No Gmail, no email, just the phone. Very nice! You'll find yourself on the home page here, and as you can see, you have the chat window. But let me clarify something: You can upload up to 50 files, and each file can be up to 100MB, which is pretty big. Accepted file types include PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, text, images, and other miscellaneous image files. If you want to ask a question, this is the place.

And then if you click here, it goes "online," which means it will go online if it thinks it needs to. If you don't want it to connect to the internet and you just want the files you've uploaded, you click here and it goes "Offline". The form has two tools: The first is called "Kimi," which is for general, more demanding tasks, and the second is called "Long Knife," which requires deeper thinking. This modern model, like K1.5 Long, thinks and shows you the stages it went through and how it arrived at the answer.

Well, if you want to upload files, you can upload them here. There's also a section called "ComFreeze," where you can write down words or phrases that you use frequently

Let's try the other model that takes longer to think about the same request. As you can see, it shows the stages of thinking, has read 57 pages, and is searching as you can see. That's not the answer yet, it's the thinking stage. Then he started writing, adding page numbers like "page 67" and "page 15", with DOI links to verifiable references. The references are real,
